Agreed. It is easy to convince yourself you are at the limit when you are laying down consistent times. But you need to benchmark against another consistent driver. I had an event recently where I had 4 runs in the morning that were very consistent, but, I discovered I was almost 1.5 seconds behind a guy I normally am competitive with. I spent the lunch break rethinking the course and attacked it in the afternoon. I knocked off the 1.5 seconds I was missing in the morning, finishing a few tenths behind the other guy. Glad it wasn't a Tour event where you need to get it done in 3 runs.
