It was absolutely crazy. Pete's a solid driver and the car was spinning all over the place. Never seen anything like it.

I've never had this happen at VIR or any other track. If you are using non-OEM axles I'm betting that is your problem.

So is the consensus that the axle boots are tearing because they are not OEM. Is it a boot problem or a grease problem? Should I but a set or brand new axles from Honda or get racing axles with vents and super hi temp grease?

Are you sure everything is lined up properly on your axels? No camber issues, excess toe, or anything like that?

I'm not sure if that would really make a large difference, but to me it sounds like there's something causing the axels to move improperly that's causing the boots to tear.

I put on the first set and had a mechanic put on the last two sets. He didn't indicate anything that was not lined up correctly. I have camber in the rear with a very small amount of toe. Nothing that seems out of place for a track car.

I agree with the suggestion of removing the spring and checking for contact through the entire range of motion. This is consistent with track-only damage since you are likely compressing the suspension much more jumping curbs and changing elevation than daily driving.

I agree with checking that however, my concern is that if it is caused by boot inflation there will be no sign of contact cause the boot will not be inflated during this testing.
