B Street
Here's some shifting I had to do on a crappy local course today. I was pissed about the ending coming toward the wall.

Who would of thunk they could build a course that required 3 down shifts in a ap2? Not me! I've been proven it's possible

A little update indirectly relating to B-Street. I previously gave up on the AP1 (my AP1) based on power issues and loosing pretty easily to competition I'm normally competitive with at the Wilmington Tour and Toledo Pro last year. After taking my AP1 to a tuner and installing a Haltech ECU (there is an STR legal way now!), we exposed a weak cylinder #2 with evidence its been this way for a while and in the process of tearing it down. While this isn't going to all the sudden make it competitive with the CR and AP2s in regards to power, I feel my car would have been much more competitive given a healthy motor.

Yep! I paxed 2nd out of 84 drivers Sunday. Fastest production car raw time. I finished 18th at the NJ Tour earlier this year.
with lincoln around the corner I find it interesting to bring this old thread up again.
Looking at the Championship Tour so far this year
C5 4 firsts and 2 seconds
S 2 firsts and 3 seconds
at spring nats the C5 scored one of those first and second place finishes.
So, do we predict the C5 to win at Nationals in two weeks?
interestingly, I find myself in a regional battle (Huntsville AL) with the C5 (Ed Fisher)that finished first at Wilmington. We are very close so far this season. I have found if the course design includes a drag strip start I will struggle to catch him. Looking at the 0 to 60 numbers the C5 will have a one second lead right off the start with a drag strip start. That is hard to make up unless the rest of the course is tight.
Also, it seems like there is less and less interest in B street among S2000s, honestly it is very tempting to drink the koolaid and mod into STR. I have been thinking seriously about it. If only this driver didn't enjoy DDing the stock S so much.

You can still daily an STR car, but everyone's tolerances are different. Im also interested to see how this plays out, Im no longer in B street since I recently purchased a CR. So I will be dealing with a comparable situation.
