Bad oil blow by on track followed by severe bog (Catch can already installed)
Hey all, I just finished a trackday at buttonwillow and was experiencing what I think was severe oil blow by on the last right hand sweeper. I do have a Saikou Michi catch can already installed, and it did not get filled more than halfway. After I saw the cloud of smoke behind my car I immediately pulled into the pits, where the car started bogging and running terribly as it continued to belch out smoke.
After driving it around and letting it clear up, the car drove fine. Then I went back on track the next session and that same corner, it happened again. I noticed that this started happening when I was trying to take the corner in 4th (which had much more engine decel), rather than downshifting to 3rd and getting back onto the throttle sooner.
Additionally, I noticed my oil was a tiny bit overfilled (yes I know this is bad, I caught it afterwards).
Any thoughts?

This would really help a few other threads going on where folks are suggesting the TSX PCV but that one does not have the rubber hose and so we cannot find what the heck everyone is talking about.

The Saikou Michi can only fold a few ounces before the intake sucks oil out of it. Empty every session. You could disconnect the line going to intake and that will increase the cans capacity, you just wont be pulling vacuum on the crank case, which is fine. As long as pressure can equalise with ambient the motor will be ok.
