Banging from Right front suspension.
Another possibility: I have the Comptech bar and koni shocks. I developed a noise from the right front (after a wheel alignment) that I thought was related to the bar. The noise arrived as the front camber went to -1.0 and the caster was at 6.5 (right side, best on left was 5.9). Changed caster to 5.8 on both sides and noise disappeared. Camber is now -1.5 and caster still at 5.8 and the front end noise is gone.
Humm. I'm running 6.4 on the right front and 5.7 left front. I wonder if that's it. The funny thing is I never noticed the noise on the way up to talladega. It was only after the event the noise started. I'm scared it's the Koni's
For what it's worth; I had to remove the brake line brackets from my Konis to get adequate clearance with BG bar. The other noise I've had with the bar, was after the aluminum conical spacers started to deform/smash. I replaced them with stainless steel ones and the front end has been quiet for over a year. Good luck finding your noise
Bill never sent the Spacers. I retro-fitted the factory rubber ones off the stock bar along with a metal clamp that fits inside the rubber to make mine own spacers. I've noticed they moved a little bit though. I'll take a photo and post it.
Another thread back from the dead...
I have this clunk/banging sound also. Might have to do with the FSB. I'll remove mine for a bit and see what happens.
It was the spare making the noise. Have sinced removed it. :-D
