Really. First time I've seen passing on the track since I started watching F1 early this year. And lots of it. And then there's that kilted wacko...
The scary thing was that after that incident, Toyota was running 1-2.

So what, do you guys think was the best/worst moment of the race?
Was it when Villenouve tried to run his teammmate off the track, or was it when that idiot ran on the track?

All of the above, plus all the 2 wide passing.
The drivers actually raced for once, unlike usual where all the racing is in the the pits.
Still not sure wtf toyota was smoking going for a 3 stopper after they got the lead. dumbasses.

I think the strategy was figured out b4 the race, no? The thing that threw the whole thing into a "lottery" was the 2 safety cars. If it wasn't for all that, it would have been a much more ordinary race IMO.
What I thought was funny (or sad....) was that 2 of the most lackluster drivers were having their jobs threatened and all of a sudden: Coulthard and Barchello were PASSING! Imagine that! Imagine if they had been passing like this the whole season? We would actually have something interesting to watch.

Sure, but a strategy is really just a plan. When things change, the engineer needs to recalculate the numbers. 1 more second of fuel delivery and da Matta finishes 3rd. Makes the Japanese look pretty dumb. Heck, even an old Englishman can do the gas calculations on the fly :-D

Rylan,
can you tell whoever runs this site to adjust the clock?
What did you guys think of Button coming thru the pack to finish in the points?
Looks like Bridgestone is on the up and up again. That huge test last week really helped out.
Poor Michael. He was 15th after the second safety car.
