Default Base Comptech SC for DE's/lapping days?

I did a quick search and didn't find much info. Are any of you using a base Comptech or Votech SC set-up for light track use (5-6 events a year)? I am just wondering how the cars hold up as far as reliability. It seems like they would be fairly dependable with the base set-ups, but I wonder if the biggest concern would be the heat. Those A/W aftercoolers get heat soaked so easily. Anyone with any experience pushing one of these set-up's hard at the track? Thanks in advance.

I do it...not a problem in the least! My compression is still over 215 per cylinder and I've the Comptech SC on for over 12,000 miles...

*edit* and I track my car without a problem...

How often do you track the car? Any issues with temps?

eh...only 3-4 times a year right now...but because of $$$$ and time, not because of reliability issues.

I have the stock comptech kit with no aftercooler and have done one track day so far. It did well, no major overheating. It was pulling alot of timing. I just put brand new plugs in and when I was done they were black, so I'm guessing I was running pretty rich.

If you are going to do alot of track days, I would probably recommend the aftercooler.
