Ill chime in here:

Ive had both the ST40 and was offered to test the C43 kit. Zero performance benefit C43 vs ST40

C43 is LOUD. Like distractingly so. Removed C43 and went back to my ST40 which is in my opinion the best brake kit you can buy for the S2K.

FWIW my ST40 kit has nearly 400 (that is not a typo) track days on it. Ive changed rotors 3x. If thats not a winning consumable ratio youre asking too much.

@anorexicpoodle just curious is that with or without brake ducting? Roughly how many pad changes per set of rotor rings are you doing?

I also have the ST40/ST22 setup with no ducting and I am still on the first set of rings and pads after roughly 10 track days. I will need to swap front pads soonish but everything else looks good still.

@Hondahero10 No ducting, stock rear brakes.

Im getting about 25 days on pads (approx 1 year) and about 80-100 on rotors.

Raybestos ST43 pads

@anorexicpoodle nice, major usage! Seems like you've extending both front and rear life significantly and no form of rebuild on either front or rear?

@EffWun Correct, no rebuilds. Just a few sets of rotors as needed.

Chiming in with a bit of additional data for the C43. Just ordered a set of replacement rings after around 60 days. In that time, I've gone through three sets of Hawk DTC-70 pads. No ducting, stock rears.

The difference between the standard ST40 and the trophy kit is a bit of extra machining to take an additional ~1lb out of each caliper without reducing stiffness and they are hard anodized instead of powder coated for greater finish durability when subjected to extremely high heat. I believe we have all options in stock and ready to ship if you're interested.

I dont know any better qualified people to get the right brake setup from than these guys. They've helped me on both my platforms.

What's the cost of the ST40 kit for the S2K?

~$1500 if you shop around - this was before the global raw material supply chain issues. Comes with street pads, which are not up to snuff for track use.
