that'll be interesting.

time attack driver vs. w2W drivers.

I always wondered how time attack drivers would hold up against wheel-to-wheel racers

I don't think Billy is just a time attack driver. On his website it says he started racing karts when young and he raced with Formula BMW and went on to racing for other professional series. So he's just trained to be a professional race driver.

Yeah, Billy has been racing the Continental Tire Challenge Grand Am Series, formerly Koni Challenge. Been racing a Mustang with Roush Jr. as his co-driver. Billy is currently #5 in the standings behind guys like Joey Hand and Charles Espenlaub, goes that have been racing for a decade or more.

Billy is a badass driver, period. He has a tremendous natural talent for driving anything fast; amazing car control skills and good racecraft.

Statistically, since he entered Grand Am 3 years ago, Billy is the winning-est driver in the series, with more wins & podiums than any other driver -- more than guys like Hand, Auberlen, Espenlaub, Lally, etc. He and Jack Jr are currently 3rd in a very close championship, in an older version Mustang that 'shouldn't' be as competitive with the new ones.

FYI........
