Default bolt on rollbars?

apparently if a convertible is running faster than a 13.5, the vehicle has to be equipped with a rollbar in order to pass.. i found this out after a 13.3 pass @ union grove last year, but i love this track and would not prefer to go anywhere else. well to make a long story short, i personally don't like the look of a rollbar in an s2000, so are there any rollbar units that can be easily bolted in during install and removal? basically a unit i can easily install on a day prior to going to the track, and remove when done.. install time does not matter just so as long as it doesn't take more than a day nor require any drilling/cutting into the factory plastic trim pieces.. am i asking for too much or is there a kit like this out there?

yes, you're asking too much. Check out the elda engineering bar. it's by far the best rollbar out there.

The Elda bar requires some cutting of the plastic trim pieces.

I thought the Elda was no longer available. Not true?

That's the one I'm waiting for.

The Elda bar requires minimal cutting and allows nearly everything (glove box, etc.) to function without restriction. It's by far the most elegant design if you want to keep your car street friendly. You won't need to pull it out between events, just an easily removed cross bar.

We are releasing a new run soon. Starting next Thursday Marketplace and us will be able to take pre-orders. The bars will be marketed as Version II due to some manufacturing upgrades. The basic design has not changed at all, just the manufacturing and tolerances. We are expecting March deliveries.

cheers
