Glad to hear there's still interest, Wael. I know how much effort you put into designing this bar. I'm still very happy with mine, just not so hot on Comptech's hack job . Keep it up

We are not making many because we're not so sure how much demand there is, so I encourage pre-ordering. I will post a thread with all the info next week, Rylan and I need time to setup the websites and figure out the details, but I will post the info in this forum first.

We will offer roll hoop triming service, but it will cost a few bucks and probably be done on the conservative side so the owners might need to work on it a little. The bulk of the work will be done though.

cheers

Should we pre-order on elda's site or at the S2ki marketplace?

I believe Marketplace will have a cart on their website, I don't have a cart yet, so ordering from me will have to call me. In the end it doesn't matter. I imagined most on the West Coast will buy from Rylan, and those on the East Coast will order from us directly, however one can ordered from whomever they chose.

cheers

Yep, we'll have a standard product listing with online ordering etc. as we normally do. Just need to iron out the details and get some product pics/info.

That all depends...does your track sanctioning body actually inspect these rollbars or can they be made out of tin foil?

Sure, but you will lose seat travel and have a bend in your fore/aft brace which means they can buckle at the bend. SCCA requires the fore/aft brace to be straight. The ELDA looks much cleaner and elegant with the trim work, the cusco looks like a blue alien in your interior.

From a safety and build quality point, the cusco is 1.5" and thin wall, SCCA requires 1.75" and thick 0.120" wall thickness. Cusco is bolted together, ours is welded together.

I wouldn't recommend you buy the ELDA bar unless you see it first, also I recommend you look more into the Cusco to be sure you make an informed decision. Pictures never tell the whole story.

cheers

thanks for all the feedback! this track doesn't really look into the measurements/dimensions of the rollbar itself, they'll just check if the vehicle is equipped with one. i'm just looking for something to enable me to run (its not a closed track, just dragstrip so i'm not looking much into the safety for it). it sounds like the cusco will fit what i'm looking for; something to bolt-in w/out cutting into interior panels and remove after a day at the dragstrip. if i was looking for something permanent, i would definitely go with the elda rollbar. the elda rollbar definitely sounds like it's better built and will outperform the cusco, but again i'm just looking for something to easily install in order to run on the dragstrip. thanks again for all your feedback - defintely appreciated
