That would be a massive intake restriction. I'd don't believe it would be feasible.

It might make more sense to swap pullies, and just run very low boost on track.

Another option is to bypass the SC (shorter belt or remove the belt depending on SC) and remove the charge pipe to the T-Body and replace it with a filter or intake tube with filter. This will work fine with your boost tune assuming the tune is well developed at partial throttle. I've done it several times and it runs very well.

You can regulate boost on a sc too, jut add a wastegate on the piping. the lightest wastegate springs are 4psi.

Any repeated launching and you will be breaking [stock] axles. That being said you may want to just replace them and not upgrade. My line of thinking is this:

You would be replacing with non fatigued axles which (given equal engineering) will be stronger

Auto parts stores sell them for ~$50 per side with lifetime replacement warranty

Purposely leaving a weak point that is inexpensive may save you from breaking more expensive parts.

I have a Puddy 2.5, Carbonetics Diff, and recently rebuilt transmission. I am quite worried about breaking the expensive stuff, seeing as I have $3000 in the Rear and $1000 in the trans. I am okay with snapping $50 axles; for that price I will probably carry spares. Just something to think about though.

Tranny and diff. With an SC, tranny may hold up okay. A stage 2 diff may or may not hold up okay. Do you have a 1st Gen or 2nd Gen OS Giken? STR guys killed their 1st Gen due to underengineering of the ends.

Do what's fun for you. Make sure you budget plenty for breakage and consumables, though.
I assume you are talking about A6s for track usage?

The OSG that failed was the 1st generation, 2nd version. There were 3 total batches made for the 1st gen diff, the 2nd manufactured batch used the bad parts.

I have only driven 2 FI S2000s at an auto-x. I was fastest with a lower boosted car that didn't overpower the tires as easily. I would put as much grip on the rear as possible and follow what many of the STR guys are doing to properly put down power.
