Default Who is running an Intercooler vs Aftercooler

I just picked up a used CT supercharger, that did not come with an aftercooler. I have done some research and it seems like the intercooler is the way to go for a track car, as the aftercooler gets heatsoaked fairly quick when at the track, where the intercooler keeps the temps cooler for longer?? Anyone here with real world experience of either on the track? I know you loose some boost when you go intercooler, but I am not looking for mega power. I would be happy with 300-350 whp.

I run the UR front mount on the track and I like it. Its simple and does the job. I had to run a 3.8" pulley to get around stock boost though. I get a little over 6lbs at redline.

Im sure intercooler is the way to go if you dont mind running a different pulley to achieve the same boost. Can you equate lower boost to less stress on an engine? I dont see why not? Id be happy with 250whp
