I dont know.....did they tune the CR from the factory???

And it may.....you have to compare the CR to an AP2 as I have an AP1..

How much horse it made before the aem ems tuning?

peak power gains with I/H/E on our cars no matter how you cut it with the tuning will get you about 20 rwhp max.

The key is the power gain you get by lowering your VTEC which gives you the torque lower down in the rpm range.
