Can someone explain to me wtf people do solid windshield banners on race cars?

You could paint that part of my windshield, and It wouldn't matter. Between my seat being on the floor, and a full width multi panel mirror, that part of the windshield is useless. I suspect it's the same in most race cars

Removing a visor for comfort is like removing the harness because it's not comfortable.

He's got glasses on.



I never put mine down, but I won't remove it. I do where sun glasses though.

If people want protection from the sun without sacrificing safety use a tinted visor. But its your face so do as you wish
