Ha Ha!!! I know what the problem is.....Your knee has bumped the key in the ignition just right and it killed the motor when down shifting into the corner.
I've done this a number of times myself and it scares the crap out of me every time.

I have never done it on my car. But, when my girlfriend first got her S the first two races she was complaining to me that the car was shutting off. I went through everything on the whole damn car. I took the alternator and the battery out to have them tested, changed out coil packs. EVERYTHING, turns out she was hitting the key with her knee. Now when we race she just has her key in the ignition and leaves the fob and other keys in the secret compartment.
