Default Carbotech RP2

I was talking w/ Mike Jr at Carbotech and he says they have a new endurance pad RP2. I searched and only got 1 hit and it was someone asking about them. Any one have any experience with them? He compared them to XP12 and said they last twice as long. I'm currently running XP10/8 on NT01.

Interesting news. Are these pads also twice as expensive? How much are they?

Curious of the cost myself. Definitely worth running if they perform like XP12's but last twice as long pending price.

Tubedriver is running them on his Lemons Volvo and he's impressed. I normally run XP10s up front but I have a set of RP2s (Accord caliper) in the box.

I ran them on our Volvo wagon at a 24 hour race. Almost no pad wear! We got a little smearing but our Volvo weighs about 800lb more than a S2000. They felt sort of like XP10 with perhaps a little more initial bite.

Will be trying a set on my S2000 next season.

Wow, these sound promising. Was it hard on your rotors?

I have a brand new set that I'm waiting to try on next season. We ordered ours from Eric Wong, the owner of Brakeswap.com http://www.liteswap.com/Merchant2/merchant..._Code=brakeswap. Real cool guy, he is the NASA GTS # 199 and most of us here at Mid A order stuff from him.
