CE28N vs CCW Classic

17" CE28N's are actually very easy to come by as they have to be the most popular aftermarket 17" wheel out there. Again the problem is getting one to match the color since not all colors are available at the same time. This month might be gunmetal, next gold, next silver. If you don't care then you can probably have one next day.
The other advantage of going with a popular wheel is that in a pinch you can borrow one. There are plenty around (richard has 2 sets, Asura has/had a set, I have a set and so on so if you find yourself at Laguna with a bent wheel there is a good likelihood that for a few beers and the cost of swapping a tire twice you could have a workable replacement within a few hours and finish your weekend. You could also buy a spare which goes the same for both brands.

Just got off the phone w/ John. I'll have my 17" CCWs in 2 weeks. He's dubious on the ability to fit a 255 on the front. How much fender rolling am I looking at?
