Your line looks great!
However, I did not hear your car go in to VTEC. IMHO you should be in max power exiting those nice corners.
Perhaps keep the slightly higher gearing in to the tight corners - as it appears you are doing so as to avoid an over-powering oversteer, but continue to power out of the corner and get up to full power when exiting. To enter the next corner, brake just a touch sooner to setup gearing and move on.
With all that said... me and my car have seldome been able to outdo an EVO. Fantastic machine with power and great corner traction. But there are a few that we've taken.
Have fun!

hmmm....
My car has a distinguishing pull and sound when it shifts to VTEC. But upon further review of your recording, your machine had to be in VTEC before shifting because I thought I heard the rev limiter kick in once.
Your line looks outstanding and your handling looks smoothe. It looks there is nothing you can do to keep up with the EVO in straightened track other than keep on the power through the mild turns... I do notice that you did lift in spots where I'd keep on the power ... like the mild turns that could be gone through rather "straightly".
Your car seems to be nicely setup.
So, I would say for the EVO chase, you'll have to power harder out of, and through, the mild corners and pick spots to apply greater braking before entering the turns so as not to blow the apex.
It looks like you are driving very well, but I think that you could gain some straight line speed by pressing the power a bit more. But with that comes a change in braking for the next turn. Best to brake smoothely, then apply greater pressure to not upset the car and not blow the apex.
Everything else looks great!
You've gotta admit that the EVO and STI are fantastic machines!
Give yourself some kudos. I love the Porshe pass!
BTW... that track looks like a ball to drive.

No Porsches? I figured you'd have a couple of 911 fly bys at a PCA event
Looks good, I'll be up at Watkins Glen with PCA in August
