petawabit, just listen to what everyone here has said. all the guys that have replied have been here 4-6 years and I'm sure seen lots of BS go through this forum, and most of them either race or seriously track their car and know what works and what doesn't. there's a reason they don't run "chassis braces" on their cars and they're telling you not to waste your money. read the entire thread that crash posted... it should tell you everything you need to know.

why people are roasting you here is because you continue to insist that it makes a difference eventhough we keep telling you it is a waste of money. It seems that you are not getting the answer you seek so just buy one and try it out your self and measure your lap times with and without to see if it helps you.

It seems as though you have your mind set....this is why guys on here start to roast you because you are seeking for an answer to satisfy your urge to buy product that we(s2ki members) don't think is needed in THIS car.

I fail to understand your guys' reasoning mostly because there isn't any other than you guys saying that it just plain doesn't work. By saying this doesn't really tell me anything; I'm trying to find reasons for them not working.

Attempts at insulting me and belittling are helping how? How am I suppose to distinguish between the serious and sarcasm? Okay, I get that strut/shock tower bars don't do anything, but how are the other braces not effective?

Would it have been so difficult to humor me with a link (one that most likely can only be found on the 25th post of the 76th page that came up in searches) that would support said claim instead of going off on tangents such as people's educational background or fortune telling abilities?

Also, I would've read what crash posted if that is what he initially posted and not having gone back and edited it with a link.

Oh come on. You show up and the black and white ball in a red stripper outfit and wonder why everyone's pointing and laughing?

There are many threads in the sub forum about why stb and all the current after market bracing for the S2K is crap. Search sucks sure, but do your eyeballs suck too?

So people less-informed should be pointed and laughed at? Like I said, is this a discussion forum or a flame forum? I'm seeing a lot of the latter

Look at the first couple replies they were honest. And yes we laughed at you too. But mostly when you start arguing.

I can totally understand that. I was a heavily active member on the subaru forums since 2001 and even though people posted their questions that have been answered and easily searchable (leaps and bounds above the s2ki search engine), I was still able give them some insight on whatever experiences I've had with that pertaining area without needing to flame, insult them, etc.

I only started debating the functionality of a strut/shock tower bar which I've had first hand experience with. We all have difference perceptions of modifications done to the car and this was one mod that I truly noticed. I backed my observations with experiences that I thought were valid. I didn't say it works because it's shiny or because it adds weight

The answer you seek is in the FAQ clearly stuck to the top of this forum.

No forum population I've seen has been super nice when the FAQ's are ignored.

Welcome to the Interweb.

Ignored? Where does it state anything about floor bars, fender braces, or front and rear lower arm bars?

Don't even try to convince me that you actually read the faq before you posted.
