Couple quick str prep questions
I guess I'm reading the steering wheel rule wrong then....
Any steering wheel may be used. An alternate steering wheel assembly, including all mounting hardware, which replaces an airbag-equipped wheel is not required to have an airbag but must weigh at least as much as the standard assembly. An alternate wheel is not required to have a horn button.
What I see is... any steering wheel may be used
what say you neurotic... we run at the same regions you gonna protest me?
nonetheless I guess Im putting the OEM wheel back on or at least bringing the OEM steering wheel with me incase someone says something

To be completely legal, the replacement wheel and mounting hardware must weight the same as the OE assembly (wheel, hardware, air bag, switches, etc...; everything removed). So, I'd presume most aftermarket wheels will require additional weight (aka the lead air bag).
??? my steering wheel alone weighed 6lbs and the airbag alone weighs a little under 3lbs... so around 9lbs for everything. granted my scale is not sensitive enough to weigh the steering wheel alone... so I weighed myself with and with out the steering wheel. I'm hoping my scale is really off because if so I'm legal.. could you post a pic of the steering wheel on the scale?
