Curb Weight rating
So, I've never had my car weighed, and the class I race in is based purely on power to weight ratio.
Yesterday I had my car dyno'd for the first time. It was a Mustang dyno at Evasive Motorsports and I was impressed with 222hp on a real hot day. 95-100 degrees. I've got an AEM V2 intake, test pipe, and Skunk2 exhaust. I was also real, real happy that my AP1 ECU didn't run lean at WOT, The leanest it ran was about 13.3.
Honda's Curb weight for an 03 is 2864lbs. Is that accurate?
How much adjustment to make for replacing the stock air box with the AEM V2? How much for the test pipe and 42 lb exhaust? And how much does the spare tire weigh? And lastly, I've got heavy 22 lb 18" wheels with 225 and 255 tires, any idea how they compare to the 16" stock wheels?
Thanks everyone. (and yes I know, I can just go weigh it, but haven't done it yet)

I remember reading a magazine that weighed their "project" s2k and it came in a good bit under Honda's estimated curb weight. I don't remember any specifics, though.

Same scales, same day, list of every single mod other than stock, and fluid levels or else
Same with dyno #s ... to many variables, provide as many as possible. Items as insignificant as tire pressures can make a difference.
We have seen to much variation over the years in these threads...

Aluminum camera mount
Kosei K1-TS front wheels (4-5 Lbs lighter than stock) and SSR GT7 rear wheels (3 pounds lighter than stock)
R-comp tires, either 245 all around or 245/275
Probably around 5/8-3/4 tank of gas (don't remember for sure)
SCCA scales, around 2006.
2830 Lbs.

yeah, that seems low. My car was 28 30. That was for an 03 replacing the stock air box with an AEM v2 replacing the exhaust with a skunk 2, no spare tire and no tools. And half tank of gas. on a truck scale.

I had a P.I.G of an s2000 on the scales the other day... race weight in B-Stock without driver was 2880 with half tank. 08 i believe.
For reference my 08 in BSP trim weighs 2540 with half tank of fuel on the same scales. Our scales seem to read about 25 pounds low compared to scales at nationals fora 3000 pound car.
