A proper assessment cannot be determined with the data and photos given.

Please take a side picture of the car so we can see the wing height and Angle Of Attack (AOA) and explain if the trunk was fine, you went for a drive and then this happened - or when you first noticed the trunk damage.

Off topic...we never met but I just saw u pass at the luggage pickup at John Wayne airport.

This is all basically useless speculation unless you give us the information we need. If you want useful input then please supply:

* an explanation of how and when this happened.
That is; Did it happen on one occasion when the owner went out with the trunk and wing in good shape and found that it was in this condition when he returned. Also was the car in his sight throughout the time this took place or did he have it parked somewhere out of sight in between the time he drove it and the time he saw the damage.

* Much better quality photos. Ones that show the back end of the car from the side and rear so the entire wing can be seen showing the angle of attack, mounting etc.
Also photos of the rear of the car and then photos of the trunk close up and the inside of the trunk as well. THEY NEED TO BE GOOD QUALITY, DRY CAR.

If you don't supply the information needed then you cannot expect to get accurate useful replies.

I don't think the damage shown in the op's pics could be done by someone pulling on the wing by hand. It takes a crapload of force to bend the corner of the trunk.

[The wing] is already set at the minimal
The damage was most likely caused by a combination of very high speed (most of us on the track don't see the north side of 130) and drag. The back supports didn't push down into the trunk until after the front of the wing was raised due to drag (the wing "rocked" backwards). Once the leading edge of the wing came up the wing was pulled back creating even more drag and the rear of the trunk was crushed.

That is a very plausible theory especially due to the OP's subjective comment that the wing was "set at the minimum". A side profile picture of his car to see the wing angle could shed light on this.

Another thing that might have caused this is the fact that the voltex catalogue warns of excessive downforce when using the type 3 over 240kmh. >160mph = ~260kmh

i remember seeing in some catalog or something that voltex doesn't recommend using the type 3 above approx 140mph (i remember calculating it because it was written in kph) because it is a high drag wing

The downloadable catalog online also states so
