What's the temps like, seems like the lops would be a better choice this time of year, but i am not sure if that is negated with a codriver.

Temps were in the mid-70's and tires were getting to at least 100 during the runs.

I've heard lot about the 195 toyo. But i have no experience with them directly. Echoing what alot of guys say, word on the street is that they have a softer "rcomp like" compund that runs the whole tread depth, making them significantly faster than the wider toyos in the same diameter. I have even heard that there is a specific build date range that offered a special soft compound. Who knows... Some guys know the facts though. Regardless, like always there is no arguing with the data, they are a no-joke tire that outperforms their competitors. Would be curious to test the 195 toyo vs 255 kook on the same car....

Lemme guess, this is medium grip ashphalt surface?

I also noticed that STS is beating STR, and that's in the same heat...

Medium grip with these temps. Hoosiers work great here, street tires not so much. STS usually beats STR on proper courses. Many drivers are having cone troubles and any car with horsepower can quickly get in trouble. I feel the corse is normal and slightly on the tight side, but could be the first autox, cooler temps, etc playing a role.
