Talk to Greg Hahn or Tommy Pulliam? I'm not sure if they plan to attend in their own cars?
I take this to mean they might be looking to codrive, correct? That could be awesome. I'm trying to get my plan together as I type this. If everything works out, this promises to be a great event.

The world's best codriver just left me high and dry.

Given that my car is pretty much stock and the field looks, um, intimidating, I'm open to warming tires in another S2K if there's a well prepped seat available. Or not.

BS or STR. I'm not man enough for FP.

Thanks/Des Toups
Des, you should just take the car over. Talk with John Ward if your looking for a tire warmer. I guarantee he will get them good and warm.

If my brother wasn't coming, I would have offered myself as a tire warmer. Lets be honest, your car is better prepped than mine

Are you Steve from the Florida event? Nice to hear from you -- i must've missed your name on the entries.

Not sure who John Ward is, but if he's looking for a ride, he can give me a shout here or you can pm me an email address. And thanks!

You'll have a blast. Dixie's a great first tour, and a field like this one in STR makes for a fantastic experience.

Des! You should just drive your car in STR. That thing handles great. I mean, to be matching Kerry's times on a small tight lot is very promising for some place like Dixie.
Hi Matt! I'm fine with the car but would like to avoid all three runs on cold tires. Blytheville was scary.

The lack of power probably keeps me out of trouble, but I thought a stranger looking for a seat might want something more competitive.

Hey, where IS Kerry, anyway? I kinda expected him to show up in STS or BS.

Kerry has some wedding to go to or something.

John Ward is a good guy and I'd recommend the codrive action. You guys would make a good team. Hit him up!

^^^^Agreed! On top of that, I bet he can give you some great setup advice/suggestions/feedback as he has done well in BSP with his S2000.

Yes sir, its Steven.
I haven't registered just yet. Waiting till the last minute to register. I'm trying to get my hands on a decent set of tires. Everything I've heard about the event is that its a great time, so I'm looking forward to it.

PM ComposiMo, thats John Ward.

What hotel does everyone typically stay at? I'm planning on heading up Friday afternoon so I can get the car teched and decaled.
(If anyone is a pro at putting the TireRack decal on the windshield, your help would be greatly appreciated)

If you can get up there by, say, 11 a.m., they have a test n tune course for a few bucks a run.

I'm at the Hampton in Adel; lots of people stay in Valdosta, though, because there's better restaurants.

Follow the sirens and you'll probably find the Atlanta Region.

Thanks for the help!

Hey Guys!

Thanks for the vote of confidence for the co-drive deal

I didn't get any response to my earlier question about a possible co-drive, so i talked with Jack, who owns the car i normally co-drive, and he fast-tracked all the parts that we needed to do the freshining up of his car so that it could come up there...

So now we just need to do the full clutch job (master, slave, lines, disc, etc), change out the brakes (ran em to the backing plates last year), and a bit of a tune up (plugs n such) before the event...

Still a slight chance it won't make it, but at this point it'll be there in STR...

^^^ John, I'm starting to think you like these last second major repairs right before a big event.
