Default drag radial ?

Well im putting my s2000 together and would like some opinion on what should work for me. lsx s2k making around 560who 520wtq. I am running a cobra rear 8.8 with 3.73s.

I want to run 275/45/18 ccw wheel with M&H drag radials. How do you think this will perform rolled fenders.

My second option would be a change my ccw offsets and run a 305/40/18 mickey drag et with ASM flares added.

If anyone has ran these tires or setup please let me know how traction is.

People have fit 295s in the rear with just fender roll. You might be able to run 305s without the flares. Post a link to your engine swap, car sounds pretty crazy.

ok this is the thing there is only 12inch of space between the strut and fender max. the thing with mickey is they are wider/fatter than 305s as stated they measure 11.6-7 width its to close for comformt. The 275 are 10.7 wide.

FI subforum will have more experience with drag radials. Super floppy sidewalls for straight line grip. Makes sense to need more clearance.

For the best performance you are going to want the smallest diameter wheel you can fit with the tallest profile tire. Of the 2 tires you listed though, I've had good results with the MT 305/40 & 305/45 18's but a 275/60 15 will be better than both you listed...

These tires can grow quite a bit taller at high speed, so you will want plenty of clearance.
