Default Driving shoes?

what kind of driving shoes do you all use? I'm looking to buy a pair for my stepdad as a present. Price is not really a concern. They won't be for competition, just for canyon slamming and the occasional track day.

Thanks,
steve

check out the OG Racing site, particularly the warehouse clearance section. I've found lots of good stuff there. My last order was received in 1 day! (although I am somewhat local, about 90 minutes away)

I have Piloti DTMs. They're not bad, but also not that impressive. I haven't ever used any other kind of driving shoes, so I don't have much to compare them to. They're a little better than my old school adidas shoes, but nothing all that impressive. But at least they're fine for walking around the pits, etc. without worrying about wearing them out. I found driving gloves were a much greater improvement than shoes. I have Sparco gloves - can't remember what kind right now, but they're the ones for about $100 with the seams on the inside.

I just got speedwell shoes, they are pretty cool and I spent $69.95. I got the suede ones(red), you can also get them in NOMEX(real deal) for $110.
