Just thought this might interest some of you here,

Shows how beneficial the HANS is and how not-so beneficial mounting APR wings with taller pylons could be. There are many variables to account for of course, parts batch quality, usage, airfoil angle, etc... but just something to consider
Post #72 shows pictures of the failure point on the airfoil mounting brackets

I do get the impression that the drivers steering input is too much on most of the corners.
Or is that due to the large camra lens angle?!
\
Although he showed a nice quick reaction when teh car went sideways, it seems to me like he could have avoided that situation while drving smother with less steering input even though the wing has gone.
Glad the driver is OK

With the wing or not, I don't think he would make the corner at 148mph.

That's NEVER good to see.....BUT, I almost chuckled in that, as soon as he started moving out of his seat, you see the HANS label. It's almost like a commercial.
Thank God the guy looked somewhat coherent right after. I hope none of you have had to experience a crash like that!... I've done one in our little S at 90(ish)mph, I pretty much kissed my ass goodbye while i was sliding sideways.
Ride safe everyone!
