What confuses me is that they say it's better for track but I think it'll be better for both street and track. I guess they're saying better for track because they have more low speed damping and think that people might not like it.

The way I see it is the spring is out of control on low speed and the shock over controls on high speed. Refering to compression only, as rebound must have been designed by a veteran and compression was designed by a kid.
I'm seeing it kind of the same way as you are
Although I only have like 2000mls on them now and 20 track laps, but my first thought was: a softer high-speed compression would help.

And I hope their setting is better for track and street!

Maybe a dyno could really shed some light

Wow you noticed it much quicker than I did

what do you usually run yours at as far as compression and rebound.
6 comp 9 rebound is what I was running and I tried 5 c and 6 r but had to move compression back up t 6 and then I had to move rebound up to 7 and then 8 because I was loosing traction.
I'm at 6 c and 8 r in the rear for now and 5 and 7 in the front but will probably move it back up to 6 c and 8 r like the rear is.

I really notice the lack of low speed at the track but I have other issues to work on

I'm running a bit softer overall
Then again also on spring rate softer: 14kg /780lbs
That is mostly due to the bumpy track I run predominantly: Nuerburgring Nordschleife

Basically to dial in I started off with 5 all around and varied a little from there.
But as I said, test time was limited so far, so haven't really found 'my' ideal setting.

Edit:
on 2nd thought, I first played around with rebound and left compression as is.
After a while I realized the compression issue we discussed above.
Therefore I softened the compression rate. Which in the end didn't help, since it only changes low-speed.
That brought me to my conclusions as mentioned above. (pre-set shims are responsible for high-speed and are a bit too stiff for my application)

Man, I wish we had a track like that here.

I'm happy with the 16k setup even on extremely bumpy roads but it would be nice to feel the 14k's at some point.

It would be nice to try some KW's with some 14 or 16k springs but I guess they don't go that high. I recently drove a car with KW V3's and they felt really good on the street but it was a very short drive. Hopefully I'll get the chance to try the evasive spec SRC's at some point. I'm for sure not going to buy before I try.

If the SRC can be as comfotable as KW clubsports on street, I'm all over it.

I'm sure it can if you put the same spring rate on it.
I think the kw's come with roughly 500lb springs and the SRC's come with 900lb springs so it's safe to say they can never feel the same.

we are going to be at buttonwillow this weekened on 2 cars with the evs spec SRC. One is Aaron Bitterman's s2000 that we just finished setting up and our Evasive S2k on new tires we're testing. Data will be collected and we're going to report back with laptime results!

Wow, will be crazy to see that car in action finally. Should be pretty quick.
