even with the off the shelf t1r 70em exhaust, it still hits the flange... so yes my alignment could be off but so are 2 other t1r exhaust owners ive talked to...

Well, no, if you and two other individuals are having issues with the stock mid-pipe, its a QC or jig issue at T1R.

Aftermarket exhausts are a funny thing. I used to work at a tuning shop with very strict QC. Even then, there were still cases of alignment issues.

from what i can tell from pics, it looks like your race pipe should have had a lil small downward bend before it went towards the rear of the car. The original exhaus seems to have it a bit too in the photo i put up. I know our exhaust makes a bend down some there to, to make sure there is enough room

correct the original one actually has a bend downward as well. the original one actually does hit as well -____- and im scared if its any lower, itll scrape everytime i try to go up my driveway or any driveway for that matter. my car really isnt that low but you know this car is

any other solutions? i havent been able to test that hose clamp idea yet but i think ill be hose clamping all of them to tighten them up once i get back in two weeks. thats probably the best non permanent solution i have so far

That hanger arm is in the wrong place. the way it is now, it can rock side to side. imagine rotating the hanger rubber 60 degrees CCW and welding the arm to that position. I'm not sure if that's a good way to describe it, but for my HKS exhaust, the diff hanger and the right side original hanger hang the exhaust like a wide V.

hmm so basically imagine that the rubber hanging, instead of facing straight down, its facing to the left side of the car if you are looking from the rear. then reweld that hanger on the diff mount to secure it that way?

if im thinking what youre thinking, cant i also just extend my hanger to also pull it that direction as well?
