Exhaust Scraping Problem
You'd be better off utilizing a three hole hanger. Change the exhaust two hole hanger and replace it with a three hole hanger. Have the shop weld another hanger bar coming from the existing hanger to attach to the third hanger hole. You'll have a triangle and it'll be more secure than what you have now.
Any good muffler shop should have been able to figure this out.

hmm so basically imagine that the rubber hanging, instead of facing straight down, its facing to the left side of the car if you are looking from the rear. then reweld that hanger on the diff mount to secure it that way?
if im thinking what youre thinking, cant i also just extend my hanger to also pull it that direction as well?

This is happening on my spoon n1.
I wrapped it in dei exhaust wrap right under the diff mount area so it pushs the exhaust away from the axle.
Its been on for 3 track days and works so far. Not a proper fix but it works for me.

ok so we want to pull the exhaust to the left to avoid hitting that area... im gunna put my t1r back on but ill take a look when im back. im already using the 3 hole hanger elseware so ill see what i can come up with... might have to switch out that 3 hole with the 2 hole..
