Default F40 Put to Good Use

This is a car We've been working on for awhile (build thread in FI). It also happens to be the reason my S2000 hasn't seen this side of storage in 6 months. I know it's not an S2000 but who doesn't want to see this thing make it's maiden lap. I figured this forum would be more interested than the FI section. Next time I'll have to put a remote microphone on the GoPro you couldn't hear anything but wind.

Hopefully my car will see the light of day soon and I'll be back in here!

The first few seconds were cool. The music ruined the video though. From that view it could be any car...need to hear the engine!

I think it worked... 90's super car with 90s butt rock music.

Needs more external shots

It was running in the mid 140's. This is the cars first time on track in close to 10 years so it was more of a shake down than anything. The owner plans to replace the shocks & springs and get some track pads & rotors for it so hopefully we'll have another chance to see it.

Yeah it was pretty awful footage but still cool to see, the owner is supposed to send us a few more angles so maybe I can put another video together. We definitely need more exterior shots and a remote mic. I was really disappointed when I realized there was no audio, for me that's the best part.

Very cool. It must be an honor to get to work on a car like that.
