I'm trying to get the car ready for Willow Springs next Friday... this is my first time trying something other than stock pads - just installed some R4S yesterday but haven't had a chance to put speedbleeders & ATE super-blue. S02's are worn to the bars (getting new ones tomorrow).
After a break-in drive, I went through the canyons today and felt a bit more grabiness but also the ABS kick-in as the pads got hotter(? - different from before) Should I worry about the brake balance until I have the fluid replaced and new tires? (again, first time doing it so don't know what to expect)

the R4S's are great, they are really sticky and have great feel over OEM's. but if you are REALLY hard on the brakes and that is how you drive, they will be gone by the end of the weekend or most of the way there. but dont let this scare you into braking easy at all. just bring your old pads (worn-OEM's) to the track for a "just in case backup" - I always bring something just in case, and someone other than me always ends up using them.

do get the ATE Superblue or Motul 600 in your lines, it will help tremendously or else your brakes will be mush after a few sessions.

The R4S pads are locking up your ABS because they are MUCH MORE grabby than stock.

However, if you don't change the fluid you will boil it on-track within the first session. You can change it now or at the track but YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE IT.
