Head, I put two small 2x4's in my bag when I go autocross so that I can get it high enough. Even then, the jack I use when I autocross is not low profile/long enough to reach the front center jack point. It will give me access to the sides though.

At home I use the harbor freight low profile and have to use 2x4's as well. The HF jack is one of the lowest you can get.
Can you tell me which Harbor Freight jack it is? Like the model number?

I'm not clear if you can get to the front center jack point with the HF jack if using the 2x4's?
This one: http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ton-l...ump-68050.html

Yes this jack will get to the front center jack point, but does require 2x4's. At stock height I could barely get it without 2x4s.

I have the race ramps as well. Got the 87 inch ones which are overkill, but I do plan on having a Z06, ZR1 etc in the future so gotta plan ahead

I only skimmed through this, but I didn't see anybody post this..

I have this long-reach jack from harbor freight and it gets to the front and rear center jack points of my lowered S2000 no problem, no blocks of wood needed.

Does anyone have any updates to this thread? For the record I have a stock suspension s2k and cannot get to the front center jacking point. I have 3 jacks, all Harbor freight. I have the tiny 1.5ton, the low profile 3 ton, and just went out to buy the super long low profile 2 ton. I unboxed and tried the new 2 ton, and it still does not reach!! It's a good 4" too short once the upper body of the jack contacts the bottom of the front bumper. The video posted shows the exact jack, and it's clear that without putting wood blocks under the wheels, it will not be able to get deep enough. Is there a jack that is low profile AND long enough to reach the front jacking point? The only one that I've come across is the Omega 29203 but that is over $600.

I still drive up on some 2 inch blocks. It's just easier.

Do you live in Canada? Because in the US that Omega is about $300 USD. Perhaps $360 shipped unless you have Amazon prime:
Amazon Amazon

Oops, sorry. My search reversed the part number you had listed. I can't find an Omega 29203.
