So they didn't even keep the design the same for an entire set of wheels. They reached out to me on Instagram, and asked for a number to call me at, so I will see what they have to say.
Let us know what Vincent says. Seems like this isn't well known information even within Forgestar and/or their distributors. Vincent emailed me last night and said he'll be going through drawings and test reports.

thepoi one thing that we may not be taking into account in your particular scenario, did you rotate your tires (front to back I assume due to the square setup) and possibly side to side when changing tires? It could be very possible that the one wheel that failed could have been the original one that sheared your adjuster collar, and was moved to the right left when you the RE71R's mounted.

They were changed left to right when I changed from R888 to RS3--that does affect Off #1 in my post, I'll be sure to update that. The wheel on the sheared collar side was put back in the same place though. Also, as I mentioned I the first post, that's the only incident after which I thoroughly inspected a wheel, front and back of the spokes, and didn't see any cracks (not that that means there weren't any!). This matches the post-failure inspection, where this wheel had the least amount of cracking. This may suggest that incident wasn't particularly damaging to the wheel (which isn't that hard to believe, it probably doesn't take, comparatively, that much force to shear the plastic threads on the adjusters. They're not designed to ever see that kind of load!)

What date did you purchase yours? I'm guessing there may have been a period when the design had been changed where we got a mix of styles, my guess is that all the newer wheels have the thicker spokes.

Chris did you do anything to remedy your suspension bottoming out? Remember your perch failed that one time. So that's probably not as hard on a wheel as all the times you bottomed out and it didn't fail. Your running really soft rates with big aero, sticky tires and I guess your saying that buddy club ball joint moves the shock collar out of KWs recommended range? Not ride height but the the actual perch adj range. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Sounds like this is better advice than 'go buy some forgestars'.....

In for the resolution, was looking forward to forgestars on both the street car and the race car :/

Ya, it's mentioned in the first post, but after that incident I added a shaft spacer to account for the moved pick up point, so the bump stop engages like it's supposed to.

You mean you lowered the bump stop?
