Forgestar F14 17x10, data thread
Hopefully I did this right, I had the wheels off the car to do a brake fluid flush, and took advantage to test the templates thepoi put together. Not really sure how to correctly measure these, but the only one that appears to work without immediately touching is the Stoptech ST40, the other two were touching the "hub" portion of the wheel before even removing any lines. On the StopTech ST40, you remove 4 lines before it touches the surface of the wheel, so the "thick spoke" 17x9 do not offer as much clearance as the thin spoke 17x10... shocker, I know.

Got an e-mail from Forgestar this week that my 6 replacement 17x10 F14s are ready to ship. None of my current ones ended up cracking.

Probably best, wonder if they've finished the testing/analysis the were doing on thepoi's wheels. It's been a couple of months now so you would assume they would have the results back by now.
I have done 9 track days on my F14's thick spoke 17x10 with no issues. Summit point main, NJMP Lightning & Thunderbolt, Watkins Glenn, Pocono South/East. I rarely use the curbing and no off roading for me
I have done 3 track days on mine so far (and will be doing another next weekend, as well as one in November). Also have done about 1k street miles, and they look perfect. That being said, I am a track beginner so I'm certainly not generating the sort of stress on the wheels some of the others are, but I am not overly concerned with them holding up.
