Any updates on folks using thr gorilla extended lug nuts with some (extended) track miles?
i prefer not have to run extended studs if these gorillia extended lug nuts are feasible on the track

I've used them for the last year, that includes 10-11 track days and approximately 800 track miles (and about 2000 street miles). Have had no issues with the lugs, they have worked flawlessly and I have not broken any studs. The wheels also have held up fine during that time, but they are they thicker spoke version.

But yes it is normal for them to come off sometimes. They are not physically attached in any way. Just held in by friction.

That is the hub centric ring. It helps keep the wheel centered. While not 100% required most people recommend using them if you can... especially if you already have them.
