will thses wheels w/255 still cause rubbing issue with stock MY00 shocks/springs? My current alignment is roughly -2 to -2.5 degrees front and back.
What size wheels did you get?

I think you'll be fine at stock ride height with those specs, hard to tell100% for sure as I doubt many are running that exact setup. If you plan to lower the car, you will need
to do a fender roll and tab relocation.

i dont plan to go 1-1.5" lower. I have a pretty steep driveway.

So, my 17x10 +55 rims rub on to the stock shocks when making sharp(er) turns. It contacts on the top hat right above the spring. Anyone else rubbing the stock shocks? I'm going to have my ohlins dfv installed and aligned in the next few days. I plan to have 2.7-3 camber all around while being at stockish height to avoid bumpster issues. Hopefully the rubbing goings away since the Ohlins should be skinner than the oem shocks.

Thoughts/experience?

My 17x10 +55 rub the upper control arm at full lock 6mm spacer. It hasn't been much of an issue for me I just don't turn all the way...

Besides that, I have been perfectly happy ... waiting for my backup set of Forgestars to arrive

They never rubbed my Ohlins or my Penskes. Definitely never advisable to go full lock with really large wheels. I use mine only for the track, and I don't remember them ever contacting the control arms.

I'm still new to wheel fitment, wondering if anyone can help me out. I want to replace my stock wheels with F14s. My car is completely stock, no fender/suspension mods. My goal is to get keep it that way for the time being while getting more rubber on the road. I basically want a plug/play replacement for stock wheels without worrying about rubbing anything. Can you recommend the widest wheel and offset I should get? It can be staggered or non staggered. I occasionally autox maybe 2-3x a year for fun, but otherwise it's just a street car. Just looking for a little change without having to do much and I decided these wheels would be a good choice because of the custom offsets. Thanks.

Edit: sorry I just realized this was a racing thread. But if anyone could still advise, I'd appreciate it.

So my wheels (17x10 +55) don't rub the ohlins at -3 camber like they rubbed the oem shocks at -2 - 2.5 camber at full lock. But now it rubs the 2.5" brake ducts at full lock. Minor issue when moving around paddock or drive way.
