If you can find a template for the calipers/rotors, I can measure for max offset the next time I have my wheels off.

Thanks! I'll dig and see if I can come up with the template and post up.

looks like incredibly tempting middle ground between the rpf1 and and something like tc105n. I just emailed this guy about some 17x9+55!

If you're looking for brake clearance, keep in mind that a 17x9 will need ~13mm more offset to clear any given caliper!

For the stoptech caliper, it is even thicker than wilwood (best to confirm this yourself), and according to thepoi, you can run these wheels in 17x1- +64mm offset and still have a 3mm clearance with the caliper. If indeed this is the case you could run a +60 to +64 in 17x10 upfront and not have to do major fender work, and also clear your wilwood brakes.
If I can't get a template, I'll trust your math over what I could come up with. I appreciate ya doing that! I might play it safe and go with more clearance, for just in case I decide to go with a bigger brake kit.

Hmm... I was just told that I could have easy access to 18" 315's Hoosiers take offs. What to do... what to do.

Just remember that this only works for 17x10 as mentioned by thepoi. If you run a 17x9 wheel the clearance is 13 mm less...

Also 18" fitments for this wheel style is limited in sizes that would fit ideally for s2000s

Just for a reference point on the sizes of wheels and what actually fits, many of the S2000 guys running in "BSP" have anywhere from 10-11.5" wheels front and 10-12" wheels in the back. On my CCWs, I used a 18x10.5" wheel front with a 2" lip, 7.5" backspacing and 18x11 wheel rear with a 3" lip and 8.25" backspacing. this calculates to approx 44/57mm offset front/rear. I used 285/30/18 Hoosier A6s squared and needed very little rolling/flaring of the fenders. The overall diameter of the 285 A6s help and were 24.9" new. The taller 295s (same width as the 285s, but 25.3" diameter) and 315s (25.6" diameter) will need a little more rolling/flaring. I could have gone further, and if doing this again, would use the rears mentioned above in the front with a spacer (or order with adjusted backspacing) and custom build some 18x11.5-12" in the back with the same backspacing and more lip. The 11.5" with 315 A6s work with a heavy flare and anything over will need the rear fenders cut. We run close stock ride heights and approx 2.5-3 degrees camber front and 2-2.5 rear. Our spring rates are also high, 800+ front, 600+ rear. Running these cars on high grip concrete and high grip tires will rub immediately if your setup if off.

More info can be found in the BSP thread... https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/915...pping-for-bsp/

I wanna know where your picking up the excellent engine sounds from.
I have one of these clipped onto my air filter--it sounds absolutely godawfully bad at anything other than high RPM, high load though
Jesus. I'm going to get me one of these mic's for my camera.

So 17x9+55 will clear the stoptech BBK?? That is awesome.

thepoi shows that a 10 inch wide +64mm offset wheel will clear the stoptech BBK.... Which means that his +55 has about 14mm of room. Going down 1 inch in width removes about 13mm of clearance. That leaves 1mm with the 3mm buffer already built into thepoi's template.
