Prepping for BSP
I was reading the latest issue of Sportscar last night and it got me thinking, my car with a few changes could be BSP legal. I'd need to remove the wing and maybe replace it with a mugen duckbill spoiler and ditch the splitter (but could replace it with a CR lip). I don't have a soft top anymore but wouldn't that be covered under backupdate/update or do I need to do a full CR conversion for that to be ok? It's interesting because S2000s are listed as a single line the SP category so they don't distinguish AP1 vs AP2. Does that mean I can mix and match parts between AP1/AP2/CR as needed? Other than that, I'm guessing my haltech standalone would still be ok, same for my steering wheel (no airbag). Oh I'd probably have to put a non-vented hood back on too. Brake ducts are ok?
I think you'd need CR tonneau and rear cross brace, IIRC.
I have a hybrid of Tipple and Uyeda's 2007 BSP S2000 Nats setups if you have any questions. They were the last real competitors at a National level. I have a set of John Ward's BSP wheels from 2009, too.

What size wheels are those and what tires did they run? I assume I'd need to put my interior behind my seat back too which I don't think I can do because I've got the cross bar and bulkhead replacement in there for the harddog rollbar.
You should check the wording of the roll-over protection changes in Stock class for 2012, that may limit what you need to reinstall.
The bulkhead will be a deal breaker. That needs to be stock. With regard to UD/BD, you can mix and match except for the engine and tranny assemblies. Those have to be whole.
I like the idea of BSP. I don't like the idea of Hoosieriti$.
