forum name change?
i thought password JDM was/ is a US manufacturer creating parts for JDM cars? not a track junkie, but I thought this would clear stuff up.
There parts are relatively cheap compared to most true JDM parts, im sure a full carbon under-tray (functional or not) produced by ASM or J's would be 2x as expensive.
Im not defending the JDM craze or saying one is faster around a track than the other, but its nice to see a prominent name in the "import scene" (race, or rice...) sponsoring this forum.

So, am I just slow or did the forum name just get modified?
For the few that asked what kind of business 949Racing is I'll keep it simple. 949Racing sells parts to make your car faster. No bling. It even says so on the site somewhere.
We started with Miata parts, are gearing up to launch the S2000 race wheels and will be adding more S2000 parts in the coming months. Right now there are only a few items because the focus is on the wheels. You won't ever find 100 pages of S2000 parts at 949Racing but hopefully I have that certain item you need when it comes to time for go fast prep.
I'm a track guy, been racing and instructing for about 20 years. Been building cars for longer than that. The race wheel you see in the banner ad is my design. I test and use everything I sell. If I like it and it works, it goes on the site.
I was at the first 2009 Speedventures S2K Challenge at Buttonwillow, CA yesterday. I work with Aaron at Speedventures so if you make it out to one of their events, look me up and introduce yourself.
Cheers,
Emilio
