While walking the course last weekend with a Nationally competitive driver, he passed on the following advice that he heard from a fellow racer: "Late apex as early as possible."

I think that just about sums up the answer to your question .

The bar will reduce the amount of sway/tipping and keep the rear inside wheel on the ground if you are getting any wheel spin on stock rubber. With r compounds the tipping increases and the inside rear wheel will lift inducing rear wheel spin and the bar will reduce the amount of tipping/sway keeping the rear planted. Grendon solid at one off full stiff is my lucky setting. I run S03's in rain and A3so4's when dry and alignments found in the auto-x racing FAQ.
