got TONE? get GINORMOUS!
I apologize for my ignorance, but what is the benefit of seam welding if your seams aren't failing? Already there is no movement between the parts/surfaces. For example, that crossmember is already as solidly attached as need be.
increased torsional rigidity
seam welds also replace the squishy caulk holding your flexy flyer together,
gaps filled with goo are closed and welded in process
think Viagra
STIFFY gets the job done better.....remember those days

See I didn't think there was any real movement possible in the seams as they are (unless it was some old rusted sedan), but I guess I was wrong. I had felt that the only way, or at least a much more effective way, to add stiffness would be to add diagonals and gussets, thereby increasing the "spacial" size and rigidity of various joined parts. But it adds a lot of weight also. Can/will you weld the doors shut? That would make a difference. Nevermind, getting in and out would be near impossible without major reconstructive surgery.
Anyway, your body is looking real stiff
. Hope it will hold up to the crashes better.
