I totally disagree. -3 is about perfect in the back and about -4 in the front. even on stock wheels. You don't give up contact patch in a corner w/ those numbers.
I haven't done a pyrometer on them, but I've been running minus three in the back for more than a year, and the wear pattern is absolutely even.

However, I only had about 2.25 on the front before, and now they are up at about 3 also.

Keep in mind, I'm running stock tire sizes rather than race car tire sizes. For now, anyway.

Try stiffen up the chassis, this well reduce undamped wheel rate. The car well be much easier to drive at high speed corners. The S2k is a front mid engine car, I feel the engine bay area is the weak link of the chassis.

What specifically would you recommend doing to stiffen it up?

Try Cusco 3pc. Chassis floor bar and S2X 4-Pt. Struct Bar first. It's not a expensive mod. I got it used. very easy to install.
Inner fender brace helps too. But try the floor bar and x type 2pc struct bar first and see how the car react.

By reducing undamped wheel motion from chassis flex, you can feel the suspension doing its job.

Inspected everything today. It all looks good except the driver's side rear diff mount (the fluid-filled rubber part) obviously burst a seal or cracked or something. It's hard to see how that might have caused a handling issue. And I have no idea how long ago that happened, since I don't remember the last time I inspected that area. But I suspect it's probably recent, since everything is still wet.

It's been pointed out to me that these tires are nearly a year old, and were well used (I corded one on Wed, but it was one of the fronts -- if it had been a rear that would have explained things nicely).

Oh well. We'll see what happens.
