I will probably upgrade to a full cage soon and will be selling my Hard Dog bar. I live near Charlotte, NC. If you are interested in buying it, send me a PM.

Oddly enough, I also have the Forbidden double-sided CF OEM replica, and it does not touch the roll bar.
I have the single diagonal roll bar. Maybe that makes a difference? I wouldn't think so, but who knows.....

I don't have templates and it was a heck of a time building the retractor covers
It can be done...

Here are the plastic panels I was talking about that close off the rear of my car. I do not have a soft top or motors. I know they are sort of hard to see....sorry these aren't the greatest photos.....

You can't be half pregnant.

After buying the s I spent considerable amount of time researching roll bars. My car had 19k at the time, and wanted it to be as clean as possible. Bottom line, there is no way to install a functional roll bar in the s without significant compromises to the interior. This is especially true if you are tall and run with the seat all the way back. The roll bar is part of a safety system which should includes seat and harnesses.

For me me I did nothing more than lower the factory seat and roll the dice. My car still has full interior and will stay that way until I sell it and replace it with a dedicated track car.

Solution: Decide on track or street...or... buy two cars.

good luck

I struggled with this for years.

Got a Hard Dog Double Diagonal w/ the lower harness bar for cheap and then went "all in".

could you supply a method of how you made those interior pieces? Im in the process of making a custom bar that is less expensive and i want to remove my current hoops but not lose the interior look or secret compartment functionality

it all just takes time. alot of time. i am kinda mad at myself for not putting the center console back in for like 3 years as it was crazy easy with the hard dog double diagnal. i had some aluminum flatstock laying around. there is two screw holes on the back lower part of the center console. i just cut the aluminum down to the right length drilled two holes to match the spacing on the back of the console and screwed it in. this flat stock basically rests right up against the harness bar. i used some worm clamps around the flatstock and the harness bar, and the oem front screw(or screws i dont remember if there was one or two up front under the arm rest) took me an hour or two trimming little by little to get the rear side panels trimmed and fitted. second one goes alot faster as you can chop off a much bigger intitial cut because you now know roughly how much has to be removed and from where. thats as far as i have gotten replacing the rear interior but can tell you the car inside feels/looks 1000% better, with just those 3 panels replaced feels like a full interior. next spring i plan to try to tackle more of the interior, i know the roll hoop sections are going to be the ones that take the most work, i plant to try to find some junked split roll hoops as mine are in tact and think it would be silly to split them for my project. there really is no how to's out there, it just takes time trimming little to little till it all fits up
