The bar fits fine with a hard top.

You can keep the stock roll hoops but you'll have to trim the hoop's plastic outer shell.

If you're willing to lose the center console they'll put the harness bar lower--when I ordered mine they asked where I wanted it.

I got the welded in harness bar. It's the same size tubing as the rest of the bar and looks much better than the square, removable bar.

The install isn't easy but I was able to do it alone. I spent one afternoon removing the interior trim and then installed the bar the next day. I didn't re-install my plastic interior pieces--I didn't want to cut them.

I'm very happy with the fit-and-finish of the Hard Dog bar and they shipped it when they said they would.

where do you have to trim the plastic?

Pretty sure it's right there, where the support bar goes by the side of the roll hoop.

There are good links in the FAQ about this bar, one which also shows the pieces that need to be cut.

I installed the Hard Dog bar in ~March or so. Nice fitment! Very tight, but no problems with interference.

You have to trim the roll hoop plastic covers where the diagonal goes back and down, and the two pieces on either side of the rear parcel tray, and the plastic parts just behind the doors. IIRC...

Anyway, really pleased with the bar. Couldn't believe it, but I actually pass the 2" rule, despite the too-high S2k seats. I've seen pics where it's not even close, but I'm a fairly slim build and 5'10", no problemo.

I ordered the bar, they said 3 weeks, I got it within 3 weeks. Un-fricking-heard-of. Really good guys to deal with.

You have your pricing wrong. I just got off the phone with Tom, and the prices are as follows.

Bolt in bar w/ nothing= $500
+weld in diagonal bar= $50
+weld in harness bar= $50
+bolt in diagonal bar= $150
+bolt in harness bar= $100
