Default harness

so im looking to get a harness for my, before anyone says anything, i already have a roll cage HD and recaros SPG's, im looking at the Schroth clubman harness and looking to do the snap in and my question is more so to the eye bolts, they have 2; 38mm lenght or 22mm. im not quite sure i might need to use for the sub belt and also if i would need a reinforced plate for all 3 mounting points om the floorboard.

Bump cause I'd also like to know the answer to this. I want to get the Schroth Profi II-6 but it only comes with 22mm long eye bolts and two backing plates. Does anyone know if these will be long enough to go through the floor pan and trans tunnel for the inboard lap belt? All will be used with a Schroth backing plate with welded nut.

I called Schroth and the guy said the 22mm bolts are generally long enough to reach through the floor pan and trans tunnel, and that they rarely sell the 38mm eye bolts. Justin at Rockstar Garage also said the eye bolts that come with Schroth harnesses have been long enough in his S2K installs.

Thanks! I definitely refer to that page often. For the inside lap belt on the trans tunnel, did you drill a hole and use a backing plate, or did you tap it to screw the bolt in? I'm not sure how thick the metal is there.

You must drill and use a backing plate. The metal is way too thin to tap and wouldn't support a seat belt in any kind of bump.
