Zero complaints.
just remember that DTC 60 dust is some nasty stuff and is pretty corrosive on paint - so make sure to wash your car and your wheels

Initial bite is better then oem, and dust a little more but not bad. They seem to fall right between OEM and Hawk HP+ as far as cold bite and dust. No noise on the Stoptechs though which is absolutely horrifying with HP+. HP+ is also extremely hard on rotors I found. I have not tracked the Stoptech sport pads though. Some have, and I have consistently heard from them that they fair pretty well actually, better then expecting. Anyway, dual duty pad is always a compromise, so just have to figure out where your willing to make that compromise, more on the street or more on the track. HP+ was intended to be my dual duty pad at one point, but it was too compromising on the street and track both for me.
I would just pony up and buy some solid pads, I've had Winmax W4s on my car on stock brakes for the last few track days which are a compromise pad and was able to put done some 1.55's at the Ridge yesterday with them, but they got far too hot and I had to give them some cool down laps. Nothing makes me more frustrated than spending $350 on a track day to not be able to drive to full potential because of equipment failure or compromise.

No, $350 for the entrance fee. Plus fuel, transportation and consumables. Consider yourselves lucky in California, we have a short season here and track fees are very expensive. I'll that that and my guns over cali weather and cheap tracks though

Yeah but then you run to a whole host of other shitty issues like your mag limit being 10 rounds and all the new shitty issues surrounding ar15s and Aks

Could be worse. In MD we have 10 round limits and stupid expensive track days.

That's true of Hawk Blue for sure and probably some other Hawk pads, but not my experience with DTC-60. I ran a track day last fall and then again last Friday. This weekend I cleaned the track wheels (OEM AP2V1) with Meguiars wheel cleaner and the dust came off easily and without any damage to the wheel finish.

That's exactly why I decided it was time for the BBK along with the added rear ducting. Now I'm too broke to buy proper race pads for it lol Was hoping the Stoptech sport pads with a little extra pedal effort might not hold me back. But I'm still on the fence, will see how things shake out. Might have to just give in and prostitute myself.

Nice time btw! s2000 I assume on R comps/wing?
