I just sent them an e-mail to see if they plan on releasing a version for in-tank pumps and mentioned the interest in the S2000 community will be huge. Hopefully, the mods don't delet this thread now.

From the reply I received, they will have a non-AN fitting style similar to a fuel sock you'd put on the end of your fuel pump. My next question was about when we could expect to see the release of this. This is something I need at this point, as I'm sure many here can relate.

I received an e-mail about these being available: https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...39ad-264502441

However, I don't see an OEM-like fuel sock option yet.

You guys planning on a mat for the entire bottom of the tank or just the little bowl in the tank?

If you want this mat this season I would start thinking about making an adapter to go from the oem pump attachment to 1/2 npt or AN. Holley seems pretty focused on the real race car market at the moment.

Holley told me that they would have a fuel sock version of this.

Given the price, I don't want one bigger than the fuel sock size.

This makes me want to try taking out the stock fuel pump pan and try one of the X shapes directly on the bottom of the pan.

Do you know how big the oem fuel sock is? it's like 3 inches long by 2 inches wide. Buying a hydramat in that size would do nothing for you. You at least need it to cover the 4 corners of the oem pickup bowl. No? Am I missing something?

This would probably be the best bang for your buck. I assume you would remove the oem pickup bowl to let it sit flush with the bottom of the fuel tank.

It doesn't work like a normal filter sock. If you have any amount of fuel touching it, it will draw it in, even when you'd have a starve condition with the stock setup.

Sure it might be better to get something a touch bigger to cover sustained G's and have it reach that side where the fuel ends up going to cause the issue in the first place. An OEM like sock could be potentially be shaped many different ways to target fuel slosh.

I'm not opposed to adapting something, however, I do not know how much room I have to work with and it looks like doing anything with the bump with a convertible top still in place is going to be a PITA.

Something like this might be worth adapting if needed:

Okay, you mean stock fitting on a much bigger sock.

I get how it works.

You need to get parts of the hydramat into the corners of the stock pickup bowl or

remove the oem pickup bowl and get the hydramat in the corners of the oem tank.
