Hey everyone! Like the title says, I'm looking for an HPDE-like day in north FL or south GA (even south AL) that happens more than once a year. One of my friends bought a car that he . . . well . . . doesn't know how to drive fully yet, and I told him that the HPDE event I went to a couple years ago would be a great teaching tool.

So basically I'm looking for some kind of track where he can take his car and get lessons from a good coach. We live in Tallahassee, FL, so somewhere within 2-3 hours of there would be preferable (Jacksonville, Pensacola, Gainsville, Thomasville, etc.).

Any ideas?

 

The closest decent tracks to you are Roebling Road (Savannah, Georgia - 2.5 hours). Sebring (south of Orlando - 4 hours), and Road Atlanta (northeast of Atlanta - 6.5 hours). They are all well worth the drive. Make a weekend of it and have a butt-load of fun.

I run with Chin Motorsports and NASA, and they visit all of those tracks.
